ListKit alternatives for cold email fall into two groups: another all-in-one service that bundles the domains, mailboxes and copy, or a sending tool you run yourself and pair with your own list. Which one fits depends on what made you look: the price, the volume, where the leads come from, or how much of the work you want to do.
This page checks ListKit's own pricing first, then puts Pipefire, which we make, up against it feature by feature, before covering Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist, Apollo, Saleshandy and Reply.io. For the broader map of cold email software by category, see our cold email software guide, which this page does not repeat.
What does ListKit's own pricing cover for cold email?
ListKit sells one plan, the "Full Cold Email Stack", at $597 a month for 1,000 cold emails a day, checked on listkit.io/pricing in October 2026. Higher volumes of 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 a day cost more. There is no cheaper tier.
The plan includes a B2B lead database of 977M+ contacts with AI search, a sending engine with warm-up, domains and inboxes configured for outreach, an AI Script Writing Agent, a 1-on-1 onboarding call, a Slack community with weekly live calls, and a cold email course. Domains are registered for free while you subscribe.
ListKit's site says campaigns go live in about 3 weeks. Its team sets up the domains and inboxes; you add your leads from the database and your copy.
Is Pipefire a ListKit alternative for cold email?
Pipefire, which we make, is a done-for-you cold email service. Like ListKit, one monthly price covers the sending domains, the mailboxes, warm-up and AI-drafted copy. Unlike ListKit, the list is built for you: we find the prospects fresh for each campaign from Google Maps, LinkedIn and industry registers, verify every address, and draft the emails. You approve every email before it sends.
The main differences a buyer coming from ListKit will notice are price, list building and approval. Pipefire Standard is $497 a month, $100 less than ListKit. ListKit sends more per day at its price, so it suits higher-volume senders. For the short head-to-head, see Pipefire vs ListKit.

When is ListKit the better choice?
ListKit is the better choice if you need 1,000 or more emails a day, want to search a large B2B database yourself, or want an onboarding call, a community and a course included. Pipefire Standard sends about 600 a day because each mailbox is capped at 30 a day. That cap is a deliverability choice: fewer emails per mailbox keeps each one looking like a person rather than a bulk sender.
Why do people look for a ListKit alternative?
People usually look for an alternative for one of four reasons.
- Price. $597 a month is the only entry point. There is no smaller plan for testing cold email at lower volume.
- They want the list built for them. ListKit's database is large, but you search it and export the list yourself.
- They want to approve each email. Some buyers want to see every email before it goes out, not a sequence that runs once launched.
- They already have a list. A buyer with their own leads may not need a bundled database, and a sending tool on its own costs less.
What do other cold email tools cost, checked on their own pricing pages?
Entry-level prices change often, so treat these as a snapshot from October 2026, not a quote. Every figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page.
| Tool | Entry plan (Oct 2026) | What it covers | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Instantly | Growth $47/mo | Sending and warm-up, 5,000 emails/mo; lead database, domains and mailboxes sold separately | instantly.ai/pricing |
| Smartlead | Base $39/mo | 6,000 sends, 2,000 verified emails, unlimited mailboxes | smartlead.ai/pricing |
| lemlist | Email $69/mo | 50,000 emails/mo, 650M+ lead database and warm-up included | lemlist.com/pricing |
| Apollo | Basic $49/seat/mo (annual) | 30,000 credits/seat/year, sequences, warm-up | apollo.io/pricing |
| Saleshandy | Starter $34/mo (annual) | 6,000 emails/mo, 2,000 active prospects, lead-finder credits | saleshandy.com/pricing |
| Reply.io | Email Volume from $49/user/mo (annual) | 1,000 active contacts, warm-up included | reply.io/pricing |
These are sending tools. Apart from the add-ons noted, none of them includes sending domains and mailboxes set up for you in the base price, which ListKit and Pipefire both do. If you go the sending-tool route, budget for domains, mailboxes and your own time. Our Instantly alternatives guide and Smartlead alternatives guide cover those tools in more depth.
How do you choose between ListKit and another cold email option?
- Name the reason you are looking. Price, volume, list building, approval or wanting to run it yourself each point somewhere different.
- Check what is bundled. ListKit and Pipefire include domains, mailboxes and warm-up. Most sending tools do not.
- Decide who builds the list. A database you search, a list found for you, or your own list.
- Check the safety rules. Look for published bounce and complaint thresholds and what happens when a domain burns. Our cold email list quality guide explains why a clean list matters as much as the tool.
